About Solar Panels Ottawa. Solar Panel Ottawa was founded in 2020 by a team of environmentally conscious men and women. We were first giving our presentations in a garage in the City of Ottawa.

We wanted to increase the awareness about solar power in Ottawa and Canada as a whole. We started off with a small group of dedicated people who were going to make Ottawa a better place to live. During the first year and a half, we had only 10 dedicated members in our team.

Our team consisted mainly of a group of young University students who were making a difference through our advocacy. What we did not know is that solar power in Ottawa was not an easy task to accomplish.

We were determined to make Ottawa a solar powered city. We had the passion and enthusiasm to help the process of developing solar panels Ottawa. We had to commit many years of hard work and dedication to our educational programs.

It was one year and a half later that we started our educational programs. We knew that by educating the youth of the community, we would be able to make a difference in the future.
Most of the people in the community were not really aware of the benefits of solar panels. They did not know that they had the option of converting their homes to solar panels. It was at this point that we decided to hire our first employee.

She still has a very important role in our organization. Not only that, she also helps us in developing the educational programs. Her experiences and her ongoing encouragement helped us in getting the business started.
Now Solar Panels Ottawa is leading the charge to make Ottawa a solar power city.

It was a big task given to us by the government. It was not an easy process. It needed lot of dedication and hard work. We worked day and night to make this happen.
We are happy to see that the people of Ottawa and our government are on board to make this happen.
